Sifaka is a 7-piece rock band from Leeds. 

In 2017 they supported Kaiser Chiefs and Pete Doherty at Bingley Music Live. Following a string of UK Festivals (Live at Leeds, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Bath International Music Festival, HowTheLightGetsIn) Sifaka’s EP Launch was covered in the New York Times and named BBC Introducing’s Gig of the Week. They have supported Toureg legends Imarhan at Brudenell Social Club, and Melt Yourself Down at The Wardrobe. 

Their sound is influenced by 70’s bands (Led Zeppelin, The Band, Pink Floyd) and African blues (Tinariwen, Ali Farka Touré)
