The Secret Sisters - cancelled

Hello friends,

Pretty wild time to be alive, huh? We hope this finds you safe, healthy, and happy. We are all of those things, but this message is delivered with a heaviness of heart that we will process for a long time. You’ve all been so patient with us, waiting for shows promised almost 2 years ago, waiting to hear new songs from an album that is now growing older, waiting for the next time we could all gather and commune over music and our shared humanity. We wanted that too.

Unfortunately, like so many other music makers, we are faced with an impossible decision. We have decided that, at this time, it is too uncertain for us to travel with our two young boys as well as the two new lives we are carrying. That’s right: we are both growing babies again—2 new little ones due in February. After analyzing all the scenarios, we’ve decided to cancel all our upcoming shows for the foreseeable future. We plan to continue basking in all that new motherhood has to offer while we raise our kids in Alabama. We learned quickly that this tender season speeds by, and we simultaneously hope that this terrible pandemic is as brief as childhood, and that the tragedy and suffering wanes soon. We hope you understand our decision, and know that it does not come easily and without tears.

Please trust that this is only a pause, and that we fully intend to return once the waters have steadied. We wish for you all health and joy, however you may find it. All previously purchased tickets will be refunded at your point of purchase, and we wait for the dreamy day when we can all gather again, without fear.
