Brudenell presents...

JR Green

+ People Poems + Fran Wyburn & The Indigos

On 7/10/2016 JR Green release new single ‘First Blood’ on SO-RAF//SingleTrack and embark on a bunch of UK dates throughout October.
A further single and tour is planned for Feb 2017.

'Whilst Yin poses topless and accepts cigarette offers, Yang dreams up a dance-floor and contemplates house music with a mouthful full of drugs. The balance is fucked, you need some advice. Get your first blood, feel your self rapidly losing weight and slowly succumbing to complete insanity. Distance yourself from your peers, you never needed them anyway. Speak only to hallucinations, they are the only folk you can trust, then accept your fate and wait for the end for at least a fortnight. When all this is done then you must pick yourself up, dust off the old Hong-Kong Flu and prepare yourself for the square-go to end all square-go's. Do not rest until there is no aspect of love from which you cannot defend yourself. Master the heart-to-heart combat of human romance, break bones if needs be and when you are ready, bow to your opponent and kiss them goodnight. Once the battle is over, listen to JR Green's new single, 'First Blood'. It's for you x'

A Brief History...

Brothers Jacob and Rory Green from Strontian a few miles from the most Westerly point of Mainland UK, released their debut Bring The Witch Doctor EP on Hits the Fan Records at the end of 2015. Hitting 2016 ones to watch lists as well as making Song of the Week on Huw Stevens' BBC Radio
1
Show, this year has got off to a really great start for them...

Their first single, Nigerian Princess, has been played on BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart), 6 Music and made Single of the Week on BBC Radio Scotland as well as being a featured artist on Vic Galloway BBC Introducing.
And with their live concert for Vic Galloway (alongside C Duncan and Trembling Bells as part of BBC Music at Celtic Connections), performances at MusExpo in LA, The Great Escape and numerous festivals and shows throughout the UK and Europe, the buzz around JR Green is most definitely heading in the most exciting direction.

“Ace!” - Phil Taggart - BBC Radio 1
“They've got a bright future ahead of them” - Vic Galloway (featured artist on BBC Introducing) “An incredible debut... poised to make a major impact” - Derick Mckinnon - The Scotsman
