Dan Owen

+ Cara Hammond + Sam Wilde

Shrewsbury singer Dan Owen has announced the release of ‘Moonlight’, the first single to come since signing a major deal with Atlantic Records. A reworked version of the 2016 track, which featured on his Open Hands and Enemies EP, ‘Moonlight’ is a haunting love ballad and an intimate insight into Dan’s stunning songwriting and jaw-dropping vocal abilities.

The song has been featured on Spotify's 'New Music Friday' playlist in eight countries across Europe, including the UK, upon release today.

Dan has gained attention and critical acclaim across the world with his deep, soulful, blues-infected tones. At the end of last year he was a prominent figure in a number of high profile tips for 2017 including The Independent who said, “Dan Owen has the most incredible voice and a down-to-earth charm that’s proving a hit with fans.”

He has just completed a sold out headline tour across the UK and Europe following the release of his Open Hands and Enemies EP last year, which saw him enter the Top 40 iTunes Album Chart and top the Singer/Songwriter Chart upon release. It has clocked up over 6.3 MILLION streams on Spotify and had its singles top the platform’s Viral Chart in Belgium, hit No.2 in France and chart in a further four countries.

Dan has quickly established himself as one of the UK’s most impressive new talents. Now having signed with Atlantic Records, and with a debut album due to follow, he is set to become an even more formidable and impressive musical figure.
