Brudenell Piano Sessions

The first Brudenell Piano Sessions of the New Year provides an opportunity to beat the January Blues by gathering around the piano at the Brudenell, to enjoy the breadth of music composed for and performed on the piano, in a relaxed, friendly and engaging atmosphere, and providing opportunities for new musical discoveries. It’s piano music; for everyone. 

As we move into our 7th year, we are delighted to present a captivating and eclectic lineup of artists and musicians, showcasing the wide variety of piano-based music that has become synonymous with Brudenell Piano Sessions shows.

Originally from Liverpool, Leeds-based singer-songwriter Mica Sefia is quickly developing an exciting reputation on the local scene, and will be joined by Joseph Frost for an intimate, stripped-back vocals & piano performance. The lineup continues with Newcastle-based Paul Taylor, an accomplished pianist and keyboard player specialising in improvisation, creating an evocative and unique sound whilst combining unusual harmonies and sonorities. London-based Jessica Roch completes the lineup - as a multi-instrumentalist, composer and improviser, her music borrows from the worlds of ambient/electronic music and combines them with modern classical minimalism, jazz and experimental/folk touches.

Join host & curator Simeon Walker for a celebration of music and good times, gathered around the piano at one of the most iconic, friendly and community-focused music venues in the UK.

Brudenell Piano Sessions is a Pay What You Can event. All are welcome. We recommend reserving free tickets via the booking link to avoid disappointment - monetary donations can be made on the day on card, in cash, or before, during and after the event via the QR-code payment link here.
