China Shop Bull
We are so pleased to welcome China Shop Bull back to Leeds who have a long-standing connection with Cloth Cat. Fronted by a big rapper with a Yorkshire accent and an aggressive singer who is simultaneously technically brilliant on guitar, backed up by a powerful brass section and a mathematically precise rhythm section. The old adage of ‘has to be seen/heard to be believed’ has never rung truer than with China Shop Bull. Yes they combine elements of hip hop, punk, ska, drum and bass and reggae. But the point is that they do so with excellent musicianship and incredible energy.
Increasingly being booked as a headline band around the UK and Europe, they have been invited to play such festivals as Boomtown, Beat-Herder, Alchemy, Solfest and Mighty Sounds (Czech Republic).

Rookie Numbers
An exciting 8 piece collective playing ska, reggae and two tone. Known for energetic interactive performances, they pride themselves in bringing back 2nd generation ska and mod culture, covering material from Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners, The Selecter and more but own it in a way you’re sure not to see from any other band. Get ready for a whirlwind performance!

Nervous Twitch
One of Leeds’ long-standing bands and on to their 5th album, they play hook filled fuzzy new wave pop songs and are universally revered. What’s not to like about this band. Here are a few reviews:

Fever Dreams
Fever Dreams came and played as part of our open mic at The Pack Horse recently and we booked them straight away for a full set. They were really that good and their first gig to boot! They play indie rock and pop, with an amazing talent for writing songs which you’ll be right on board with from the off. Keep an eye on their progress because these guys as they have a bright future.
