Brudenell & Leaf presents...

Craven Faults - Sold Out

@ Thwaite Watermill

The elusive Craven Faults will make their highly anticipated live debut at Thwaite Watermill in Leeds on September 9th. The banks of modular synthesisers, patch cables and organ will be extracted from the old textile mill Craven Faults calls home, and pressed into live action for the very first time.

Having built up a dedicated following with a trilogy of long sold out EPs, 2020’s Erratics & Unconformities LP, the Enclosures mini-album and a series of studio performances entitled Live Works, Craven Faults’ new album, Standers, will be released May 12th.

Thwaite Watermill sits on an island between the River Aire and the Aire & Calder Navigation and was used to power various Yorkshire industries in its working life. Now preserved as a museum, it will form the perfect backdrop to Craven Faults’ longform analogue electronic music, which has drawn significant inspiration from the region’s industrial history.

The evening will also see an exhibition of the evocative black and white landscape photography by Craven Faults, which has become intrinsically linked with each release.

The live show was announced in typically unhurried style at the end of Craven Faults’ May Day Broadcast. It featured a brand new 75-minute piece with live footage of the moors, and can be watched back now.
