The Ukrainians

Join with us in a show of support for the people of the Ukraine and help us raise as much as we can to help its people, fleeing their homes and communities. All the money raised will be going to refugee charities.

The Ukrainians were the first band to fuse western rock music with Ukrainian folk in 1991. In 2021 they celebrated 30 years of international gigs & festivals and have played the Trades many times over the years.

Brigadistas

The Brigadistas music collective includes musicians from a variety of international backgrounds. They take a raw and raucous punk approach to the delivery of folk songs about rebellion from Spain, Italy, Ireland, Russia, Mexico, and America (to name a few), respecting their traditional context whilst preserving their focus on unity and solidarity.

Vera is one of the UK’s most respected Bandura players. The bandura is the national instrument of Ukraine.
