Brudenell Presents...
The Professionals
plus guests
Spearheaded by Sex Pistol’s drummer Paul Cook, The Professionals rose from the ashes of the Pistols in 1979 but disbanded just 3 years later.
In celebration of the release of a three-disc retrospective set by the Universal Music Group in 2015, The Professionals reformed for the first time in 30 years. With the addition of Tom Spencer on vocals and guitar the band played a sold out 100 Club show in London.
Fast-forward to October 2017 and the band released their first album of new material under the Professionals name in 35 years.
The album “What In The World” featured heavy praise from fans and critics and was Vive Le Rock Magazines album of the year for 2017 as well as picking up the “Best Album” gong at the 2018 Vive Le Rock awards.
The album featured several guest guitar players lending their distinctive sounds including Duff McKagan (Guns n Roses), Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Marco Pirroni (Adam and The Ants), Billy Duffy (The Cult) and of course, fellow Sex Pistol Steve Jones.
2018 saw the band touring throughout the world including dates with Billy Idol and appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival and Rebellion.
In 2019 the band are busy in the studio recording a follow up to “What in The World”.
