Beth Fields Memorial Night

This is a night to celebrate and remember Beth Fields, such a wonderful person who lost her life at such a young age. She was talented, musical, creative, a lover of wildlife and someone who touched the hearts of everyone she met.

We hope you can come down and share this night with us and remember her life. She will be sadly missed but not forgotten and will remain in our hearts. As her family described her, she is "the brightest star of them all"

7.30-8.00 The Loose Cut
Leeds-based four piece The Loose Cut have been going from strength to strength since their comeback in 2018. Their energy is infectious and intense -- both on and off stage -- especially with their heavier singles ‘Come Around’ and ‘Hypnosis’.

Their new EP titled ‘Cycles’ emits a more melodic sound with the band experimenting with new styles, whilst still sticking to their rock ‘n’ roll roots: think HAIM meets QOTSA. Lead singer George Fayle’s vocals captivate audiences, demanding your presence, all whilst layered over a velvety yet often grittier sound. ‘Cycles’ shows that the band isn't afraid to try out something different and exciting. A fine example of this is their fourth single, titled ‘Resist’ which shows a more mellow side to the band.

The Loose Cut recently stormed the stage at Reading & Leeds Festival 2019 on the BBC Music Introducing Stage, off the back of their new single ‘Demons’.

8.15-8.45 Fig by Four
Fig By Four is multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Sarah Statham, who weaves ethereal stories of connection, memory and loss into her off-kilter and captivating alternative rock melodramas. Her debut collection of songs, due out as a full album in 2020, swings between the viscerally immediate and the sweepingly cinematic. Drip-feeding melodic hooks and choruses that begin to feel like mantras for everyday existentialism. Like glimpsing diary entries or being walked through a dream, Fig by Four is a shift in perspective that draws you in and absorbs you in Sarah’s carefully crafted worlds, which are full of heart, warmth and authentic human spirit.

9.45-10.15 Witch of the East
Even Marilyn Manson has a monster under his bed. Witch of the East is that Monster.

A frontwoman who blatantly was born to be in the spotlight with lyric imagery rivalling that of the best horror movies.

Introducing, Aeris Houlihan’s solo project Witch of the East (ex Chambers). After Aeris left Chambers late 2018 she decided to write a solo album.

The album titled (Queen of Insecurity) draws on the orgasmic din of Witchy, Grunge horror. A beautifully dark concept album that touches on industrial rock, grunge and dark pop. The combination is pure yet terrifying.

“Witch of the East has no limits, no compromises. It’s an honest interpretation of your surroundings. A harsh but beautiful world! Being free to say what you really mean! No matter who is listening.”
