Do not fret, Leeds Student Radio will hold your hand so you don’t lose your balance throughout our leafy extravaganza, as we broadcast live from Brudenell Social Club’s main room, raising money for MAP Charity.

SaNTINO will get your hips moving in no time with his stylin’ funk swagger. Recently having sashayed at Belgrave Music Hall with Leeds RAG Fashion Show, SaNTINO surely brings both the heat and the beat. 

 

Solis

Dubbed the next generation of great Manchester talent, this captivating, from Ireland hailing songstress shall be the siren for the night, greeting your ears with piercing harmonies backed by her seductively menacing band.

A storm in a body, N/\L/\’s explosive beats leave a metal taste on one’s tongue. The energy, the performance, the roaring intensity – it’s everything anyone could ever want from an electronica set, produced and lived out on stage by one of Leeds’ finest. 

 

Mondo Bizarre

Dripping with jazz fusion and smooth like honey, Mondo Bizarre are not newcomers to the Brudenell Social Club. They bring the bass, the sax, the vocals – you don’t really need anything more after this satisfying meal of a performance. 

 

NikNak

NikNak is a DJ and turntablist specialising in eclectic styles of music while incorporating self-recorded soundscapes and scratching techniques. A regular at Leeds’ premier feminist club night ‘Slut Drop’, she’s also opened for Grandmaster Flash and Princess Nokia. 

 

 

 

LSR are continuing our partnership with MAP Charity – the Leeds based organisation providing alternative schooling to at-risk kids based at Hope House Gallery, also home to the legendary Cosmic Slop.

 

Love Specs will be available on the night raising money for Love Support Unite Foundation, we’ll have t-shirts from SolidariTee and we’ve hit up some brill independent designers for some very special limited-edition merch so bring down that extra cash for a good cause.
