Hair of The Dog

Do you think you’ll not have had enough fun by 6th January, or perhaps you’ll be bored out of your mind with nothing going on. Do not fear for we bring you the annual musical shenanigans to The Brudenell Social Club which is ‘Hair Of The Dog’.

On the bill we are pleased to have:

Sifaka – a 7 piece, mixing up Northern Soul with rock and all sorts of stuff. They have a string of festival dates under their belts and are tipped for big things. Having played for Cloth Cat a few times we know just how good they are! https://www.facebook.com/sifakamusic/

Mental Block – having supported bands like Zion Train, this 7 piece festival play some amazing original reggae, ska and dub, bringing back the good times. https://mentalblockuk.bandcamp.com/

Shatner – Intergalactic concept band bringing catchy powerpop from beyond this universe. Fronted by Jim Bower, their crew also includes Paul Morricine from The Scaramanga Six, they have released 3 albums since 2005. http://www.shatner.info/

The Hill Bandits - Formed in late the ’80s by Kevin Lycett (from The Mekons) and Fiona McMillan, the Hill Bandits have recently reformed and revived themselves with one raucous, invigorating breath and hit the stage again with fresh material!
