Describing themselves as ‘one part post-punk, two parts fuzz’, we’re thrilled that Team Picture are bringing their reeling, reverb-drenched sound to the Brudenell. All about experimentation, this five-piece are one of the most exciting bands on the Leeds scene at the moment.

ENGINE are a quartet who are able to craft rhythmic, psychedelic beats which are wholly immersive and atmospheric. You’ll be sure to lose yourself to their memorable and intoxicating sound.

Necktr are a modern soul 9 piece based in Leeds, drawing influences from genres spanning from hip-hop, latin, jazz, afrobeat and ambient music. Fun and funky, they’ll be sure to get you moving.

Cosmic Slop DJs

Tom Smith and Mike Greenwell from Cosmic Slop will be spinning some tunes for us in association with MAP Charity. Their events regularly provide opportunities for well established musicians and DJs to offer something back, with past guests including Floating Points, Four Tet, and Mr Scruff.

Team Picture and Laminate Pet Animal will be playing to support their upcoming double A side split single, released on Come Play With Me (http://cpwm.co/); a label who enable up and coming artists in Leeds and the surrounding area to put out physical releases.

As well as supporting these fantastic Leeds-based bands, we are supporting other local, ethical creative initiatives in putting together this event to make it a memorable and exciting experience. We’re currently working with Immortal Bloom to help us decorate the space with their incredible jellyfish and Beefy Squarms are making us some exclusive t-shirts. Following this, it’s a no brainer to be donating a large chunk of our profits to MAP, who really epitomise the good that can come out of the creative Leeds scene.
