Ahead of a monster 22 night headline tour, Lisbon announce details of their new single ‘Vice’, out February 26^th2016. This song, released via Killing Moon Records, is the first release since the launch of their debut EP ‘Life Is Good’ in 2015.

Produced by Dan Austin (Doves, Pixies, The Enemy), the record depicts a more mature style from the Newcastle band, flowing with a real natural energy thanks to a new percussive style. As ever the lead vocal and guitar melodies are staggeringly catchy, meandering above a captivating groove.

Lead singer Matthew Varty says ‘Vice is about being young, drunk, in love, troubled, and crazy all at the same time’. Lyrically I wanted the song to sound like a diary entry, like some sort of confession. When you’re under pressure and you start juggling all these vices, it makes a recipe for an incredibly fun disaster.’

After a stellar 2015, with a near sell-out headline tour under their belts, as well as supporting Little Comets/Eliza and the Bear on the road and recording sessions as Abbey Road, Madia Vale and Rockfield Studios, Lisbon are set to embark on their second headline tour, with plans to make a real mark on the national scene in 2016.
