High & Lonesome are proud to announce the first acts that will be performing at this year’s festival. As well as a new home at The Brudenell Social Club & Left Bank Church. The first Headliner to be announced this year is the incomparable Josh T. Pearson, whose stunning 2011 masterwork ‘Last Of The Country Gentlemen’ was ranked as one of Uncut Magazines 50 Greatest Singer-Songwriter albums of all time and made almost every notable end of year list.
Also joining the bill is Slowdive frontman, Mojave 3 songwriter and recent Sun Kil Moon guitarist Neil Halstead, one of modern song writing’s brightest talents Tom Williams and Lewis & Leigh, a Nashville and Wales born duo who are destined for big things.
High & Lonesome will also be moving to a new home in the form of revered Independent Leeds venue The Brudenell Social Club and the stunning Left Bank Church. Two incredible venues just a short walk from one another in Leeds’ musical heart, Hyde Park. With lots more to announce including a second headliner, art and film program, High & Lonesome is on course to be bigger and better in it’s second year.
Have You In My Wilderness, released on 25th September 2015, is the fourth full length album by Los Angeles artist Julia Holter and her most intimate album yet. Recorded in her hometown over the last year and once again crafted with Grammy-winning producer and engineer Cole Greif-Neill, the album follows 2013's Loud City Song and two much-lauded previous titles - Ekstasis (2012) and Tragedy (2011).

“We’re massively excited to announce Josh T. Pearson as our first headliner for this years festival. He has been on our wish list from the very start and captures the essence and the spirit of High & Lonesome perfectly. We’re very proud to have fantastic local acts like Cottonwoolf & Simeon Walker on the bill, as well as people we’ve been fans of for years like Harry Mundy & The Mules and Tom Williams. Moving to the Brudenell and Left Bank is also a fantastic thing; both venues are stunning and about as close to another as you can get. It’s already shaping up to a brilliant year and we’ve still got lots to come!”
