Kadavar

Kadavar are a rock band from Berlin, Germany. The band, who were founded in 2010, show attributes of both psychedelic rock and stoner rock in their music. They are considered retro rock due to their sound being described as similar to bands of the 70s hard rock/heavy metal era. Kadavar currently consists of three members.

From the beginning, Kadavar was an authentic realization of the ideas of doom, space rock and proto-metal. Kadavar's style is similar to bands such as Led Zeppelinand Black Sabbath who were coincidentally some of their influences. The band use "hard panning" distribution of audio tracks (guitar on the left channel, bass on the right, drums on the inside right and vocals in the middle) to recreate accurate reproduction of the live performances of the group. The band's main genres are psychedelic rock, stoner rock, hard rock and acid rock. In the second album Abra Kadavar, progressive rock is a genre that is also heard across the ten songs.
