Tally Ho! presents...

The Hobbes Fan Club

+ City Yelps + Wolf Girl

The Hobbes Fanclub are an indie pop band from Bradford, England and they love distortion pedals and reverb, sounding like a mix between The Cherry Smash and The Field Mice. After forming in 2008, singer/guitarist Leon Carroll was joined by Louise and Adam to fill in the rhythm section on bass and drums  following the release of two promising split singles on Cloudberry and Dufflecoat Records. Together they play melodic, energetic pop songs that  have won them loyal admirers among the indie pop crowd.

Having had a good run of shows with three excellent releases to their name (7" Your Doubting Heart, The Hobbes Fanclub EP and the 'Up At Lagrange full-length) they will be playing their last ever gig in Leeds on Friday 26th June. We're sad to see them go, so come and say farewell.

City Yelps are basement dwellers Valentina, Shaun and Ged - a supergroup from Leeds consisting of members of Boy Racer and The Real Losers. They make DIY, early Flying Nun, Swell Maps-y psych pop.

Wolf Girl are an indie / garage pop band based in South London. "Wolf Girl [...] are like 3 bands in one (The Ramones, Shop Assistants and Bratmobile will do for now), with a bunch of droolworthy garage Pop and riot grrrl-doo-wop heartbreakers jagged and torn at the edges..." - Des Was a Bowie Fan
