HILLYDILLY

"Absolutely brilliant!"
BBC INTRODUCING

"Impressive...Exactly what I needed for my summer playlist!"
THE MUSIC NINJA

“Building anthemic pop melodies and a chorus just waiting to be belted make this seal this song’s fate to be on sunny playlists everywhere”

BIO
The Coopers keep the recipe simple: a healthy dose of quirky pop, a twist of indie, and enough sunshine to bring the summer into full swing.

Hailing originally from small town Australia, The Coopers made their mark in the UK early on, earning critical praise for their energetic and compelling live shows.

Shortly after being discovered busking by a BBC producer, The Coopers first single “Ripples” was featured on UK hit
comedy “The Inbetweeners”.
Follow up single, "Summers Child", was released on NYC tastemaker Cosine Records (Atlas Genius, Swimwear, Cub Sport), receiving high praise, and variously described as; "Sparkling sunshine ‘n’ showers gems” (The LINE OF BEST FIT) and, “Summery jams to help wash over your hangover at the beach” (SUNSET IN THE REARVIEW)

The Coopers next release, sees them working alongside Grammy Award winning producer, Steve Levine.

The ever-growing word of mouth goodwill, coupled with recent UK and Australian tours and festival appearances (including Leeds & Reading Festivals, Liverpool Sound City, and The Great Escape) has seen these happy folk firmly establish themselves in both the UK and Australian music scenes.
