Truckfighters

plus guest supports... WHITE MILES + WITCHRIDER

To hear Truckfighters’ music, is to hear the sounds of the desert. It’s in their wide open expanse, it’s in their grand open groove and dust-caked metal riffs. This is a band bred on the California badlands, on sprawling vistas and parched wilderness.

There is just one thing. They’re from Sweden.

Over the course of four critically acclaimed albums, Truckfighters have honed, tautened and expanded their sound, moving from out-and-out riffing to more melodic, crafted songwriting. Yet, inherent in everything is the fuzzed-out mania that defines them.

WHITE MILES

Website | Facebook

White Miles is a dirty pole dance stoner blues rock duo. People say they are from Madagascar. Medina and Lofi met in 2005. They decided to crash the music scene back in 2011.

After releasing 4 live-videos, they quit their dayjobs and live their dream. They are famous for their crazy rehearsalroom parties with pole dancers, old black and white movies and loud music - what an experience! People say they live in their own world, but the truth is - they make the world their own.

Their debut album "job: genius, diagnose: madness" is a cruise through the deep and dark atlantic ocean, mixed with soulsaving flights across the universe.

WITCHRIDER

Website | Facebook

Witchrider is a rock group formed in Graz/AUT in 2012 by Michael Hirschmugl, H.P. Leitner and Daniel Dorninger. Before finally settling with the name "Witchrider" they called themselves "Desert Mountain" (after "Desert Sessions" in California). However, they decided that "Witchrider" was a better fit to their musical style. The idea for the bandname was taken from sleep paralysis, which is also known as "riding the witch".
Their first release "Black" was recorded just a few weeks after their formation in November and was released on the Witchrider EP together with 4 other songs.
The EP and especially "Black" gained airplay on Radio FM4 and Radio Soundportal.
Although Dorninger, Hirschmugl and Leitner recorded all the instruments on the EP, Bernhard Weigl supported them live as the bass player on their first live gig and has been part of the band ever since.
Witchrider have been recording their first album since February 2014 which will be released by Fuzzorama Records in early October.
