Superfood will headline the NME New Breed Tour 2014, with Honeyblood set to support across all of the October and November UK tour dates.

The two bands will head out on a series of dates, starting in Superfood's native Birmingham on October 31. The following night will see the bands arrive in Honeyblood's home town of Glasgow before moving on to Leeds, Norwich, Oxford, Manchester, Bristol and London. The tour will conclude in Brighton at The Haunt on November 12.

Opening each of the nights on the tour will be a local band handpicked by NME and Superfood – names will be revealed next month.

Speaking to NME about headlining the tour, Superfood singer Dom Ganderton said: "Honeyblood are really cool. I checked them out for the first time when we found out we were touring with them and they're great."

Honeyblood singer Stina Tweeddale added: "Superfood are great. We actually saw them a few times earlier this year, once at The Great Escape and again at another festival but we'd not met before. We love Blur and so do they and their songs are so much fun. We can't wait to get out there and play with them."
