Glass Caves
Bursting from the streets to the radio one playlist, picking up plaudits from Clashmusic, Billboard and a number of international music blogs along the way Glass Caves have built a following across the North of England busking from city to city.
Glass Caves fuse agitated rhythms and yo-yoing guitars with vocal harmonies that splinter then soar through their songs. The band draw from a number of classic international influences and put them through a very British filter resulting in a perfectly formed morsels of ballsy alt-rock.
"Glass Caves quickly became a word of mouth phenomenon. Each song seemed to be carefully honed, with the band's craftman-ship allowing them to gradually sand down rough edges, refining their voice on their travels."
Clash Music
"Glass Caves are going to be on everyone's lips in the coming months with their blend of Alternative-Rock mixed with the combination of Electronics and good old British Indie-Rock."
It's all Indie Blog
"Whatever the parallels to come, here lies a band on the brink of bigger things. Quite simply, this track is nostalgia for the modern age. Believe the hype."
The Music Ninja Blog
"Their indie rock intuition will grab and shake you till you're ready to dance it out on the dance floor"
The 405 Blog
"So you're telling me you want 1) Charismatic vocals, 2) mesmerising synths and 3) equally mesmerising guitars, all in one song? Glass Caves must just be the one for you today."

VITAMIN
After posting their first recording “All We Know” on Soundcloud in April this year VITAMIN were immediately picked up for two city festivals “Live at Leeds” and “Tramlines”. The track also gained praise from BBC Introducing Radio and blogs who likened the band to the spacey arrangements of Bombay Bicycle Club and electronic-pop of Fenech Soler.
The debut VITAMIN EP pitches the band in a darker, denser approach (alluding to the edgy atmosphere of A Certain Ratio or more latterly Bombay Bicycle Club again) against lighter pop sensibilities and infectious choruses (calling out The Blow Monkeys or early Phoenix).
“Need Air’ mixes Bombay Bicycle Club, Friendly Fires and Crystal Fighters into a diamante blender that produces three minutes that are as musically nutritious as you’d expect from a band with such a name. It’s big without being bloated, anthemic without becoming cliched, spacious without being vacant.”
When the Gramophone Rings
“A cross between Friendly Fires and Bombay Bicycle Club on this, ‘Need Air’, which is a real catchy little sparkler, bursting with zesty electro pop fizz.”
Little Indie Blogs
Girl Friend
Borne of lust and unhealthy obsession, GIRL FRIEND are haunted by dreams of dark rooms, bright lights, smoke and mirrors. Everyone wants to be wanted, and only the boring are bored. GIRL FRIEND are the soundtrack to a life lived beyond means, finding glamour in the mundane, in pursuit of something more.
The band arouse a steamy atmosphere on recordings, channelling the muses of an apologetic yet perpetual womaniser through a classy vocal dropping in and out of falsetto.
“Epic songwriting is matched to a real emotional core…with Girl Friend honing in on the particulars of passion and desire. ”
Clashmusic
“Girl Friend offer themselves up as a band ready to skew and defy whenever the occasion presents itself”
