Holy Wave

Holy Wave is a band of multi-instrumentalists from Austin, TX. Originally from El Paso, the band's sound has evolved into a unique blend of sun baked surf-psychedelia. Holy Wave creates a brand of psych that brings to mind fellow Texans like The 13th Floor Elevators and modern contemporaries like The Black Angels and Night Beats, dyed in carefully constructed noise with an attention to detail echoing the work of shoegaze influences like My Bloody Valentine and Spectrum.

HellShovel

Hellshovel (Montreal, Canada) it’s the project of Jeff Clarke (Demon’s Claws, Red Mass) and Dale McDonald (Demon’s Claws, Red Mass, Chocolate). HELLSHOVEL originally a song on a Demon’s Claws single released in 2004 on Perpetrator Records, later became a recording project. Started by Jeff Clarke of Demons Claws and Dox Grillo of Chocolat and Red Mass, its intentions was to make instrumental soundtrack music and soundscape performance. Shortly after this inception Hellshovel quickly formed into a proper four-piece outfit.

Using Montreal Canada as the stepping stone, then Europe as a base for both recording and touring, the band quickly discovered the limitless material they can produce while developing at the same time a growing audience. They released several singles on several record labels and a few EP's, and then Montreal gave the opportunity to record a full length LP (“Hated By The Sun” Slovenly Recordings 702-116) with the renowned Bloodshot Bill on drums. This first official full length has given them much positive press and has captured the reaction of artist booking companies.

These recordings and travels have let them have the chance to work with many other predominate musicians in their genre. These include King Khan and The Shrines’ drummer Mirko Wenzel, King Khan himself, Bloodshot Bill, and Acid Baby Jesus.

More bands to be announced.
