PENETRATION

Penetration is a punk rock band from County Durham, England formed in 1976 and re-formed in 2001 with several new members.

Their debut single, "Dont Dictate", is now acknowledged as a classic punk rock single and their debut album, Moving Targets (1978), is cited as being influential.

They played the newly formed 'F' Club in October 1977 and headline at The Brudenell, less than half a mile from The Ace of Clubs on Woodhouse Street, which was the initial 'F' Club venue... almost 35 years to the date.

THE EXPELAIRES

The Expelaires have reformed especially for this date. Signed to ZOO RECORDS their members went off to form The Sisters of Mercy, Music For Pleasure, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, The Mission and several other indie bands.
