THE NIGHTINGALES was formed by former members of the THE PREFECTS following that bands demise in 1979.Championed by John Peel, during the 80's, they received press plaudits and critical acclaim along with several indie hits. The recently reformed band, still fronted by ROB LLOYD, has a new album due out later this year. This tour sees them teaming up with their old pal, droll purveyor of anti-humour, the Reverend Ted Chippington.
