ABE VIGODA (L.A, USA)

After starting out as a punk band playing on the famed Smell scene in 2007 Abe Vigoda released Skeleton in 2008. After what has seemed like considerably more than two years they return with forthcoming album Crush released this later year on Bella Union. Their first album inspired many musicians and consequently Crush sees then band evolving and distancing themselves from the sound of their first record. Something more electronic and altogether more synth-y is a-foot. Check out lead single Throwing Shade for a taster.

KONX-OM-PAX (Displaycopy.net, A/V Set)

Konx-om-Pax is 24 year old Glasgow based Director/Animator/Sound Designer Tom Scholefield.He has created album artwork for Oneohtrix Point never, Hudson Mohawke, Jamie Liddel and is supporting Mogwai on their upcoming 2011 tour. In recent years worked with Warp Records, DFA Records, Planet Mu, Underground Resistance, Universal Everything and Optimo Espacio.
