Mt. Desolation

Mt. Desolation, a new alt-country collective featuring members of Keane, the Long Winters, Mumford & Sons, and Noah and the Whale.

Formed after a drunken night out in Dublin, Mt. Desolation feature some familiar faces. Keane star Tim Rice-Oxley joined forces with Jesse Quin, with the pair swapped numbers in the haze of a hangover.

Inviting some friends into a London studio, the pair set about crafting some new material. Sitting somewhere in between their day jobs, Mt. Desolation is the sound of two established musicians having fun while the pressure is off.

Snapped up by Island Records, their self-titled debut album features guest appearances from members of Mumford & Sons and more. A varied affair, the release of the record will coincide with a major new British tour.

The musicians will band together for a new Autumn tour, taking in the whole of UK and Ireland, the dates will feature Mt Desolation running through their debut album, which will be released on October 18th.
