Trapped inside the confines of the Doctor of Love’s waiting room, The Luca battles with living up to life’s expectations.

100% Alien: The Live Show is a theatrical pop/rock gig built around The Luca’s debut album - an autobiographical chronicle written by Sam Perry that documents the milestones in recovering self-esteem, the search for love and a longing for personal peace on Earth.

“I used to live in the blurry edges of my own life - now I feel like I’m the one steering the ship”. acknowledges Sam Perry, founder of The Luca. “It has been liberating to have a personal noticeboard for ideas and to truly use songwriting as a processing tool for the first time”.

Alongside this newfound artistic freedom, the project maintains an excuse to play music with friends - enter Sam Newham (drums), Nathan Apps (bass guitar), Tim Malkin (electric guitar), Harrison Stanford (synths, percussion, vocals), Charlotte Lynch (acoustic guitar, vocals) and Zoe Cure (piano, vocals) who all feature on the studio recordings and the live show.

100% Alien will be released on Wednesday 12th August 2026.
