‘MKO’ is McAvoy, Knowles, O’Neill, the new project from Rory Gallagher band alumni Gerry McAvoy and Brendan O’Neill and guitarist/singer/songwriter Davy Knowles. The debut, self-titled release features 8 original songs penned by Knowles and fuses hard driving blues-rock with well-crafted classic inspired songwriting. Recorded with the energy and chemistry that have made Band Of Friends and Davy Knowles live shows a big international draw, MKO is a collaboration not to be missed’ nds in 2010 as a group of friends who loved playing music together. Since then, we've grown into a full-fledged band and have had the opportunity to play shows all over the world.
