Track & Field

In recent times, the amplified buzz around the indie emo scene has welcomed the emergence of some incredible talent and Track and Field, who have been working on their debut album for the past 2 years, are no exception. 

 

Their 2015 four-track EP "You Are My Home" blended mesmerising rhythms, elegantly crafted melodies, hazy vocals and bouncy drum-lines to deliver captivating material that put them way ahead of their years.  The four guys that make up Track and Field all boast musical pasts, but ones that couldn’t distance them further from the genre that has brought them together. 

 

The band is, in fact, the marriage of current and ex-members of extreme grind violence outfit The Afternoon Gentlemen and punk rockers The Plight; the latter signed to Visible Noise and completed UK and European tours with household names before their disbandment in 2011.
