Roses. Film - Cabaret

Spanning almost five years, Roses. Film - Cabaret is a documentary following the Dakh Daughters - an all female, Ukrainian, experimental contemporary musical collective which spawned from the Dakh Theatre. Formed in 2012, this video diary follows the events across Ukraine from 2013 through to 2018, as the Daughters tour and perform their political punk cabaret show. It also highlights the Revolution of Dignity (Maidan Revolution) which took place in Feb 2014, where protestors and security violently clashed in Kyiv, the culmination of this revolution resulted in the ousting of the former Ukrainian President.
