KARI

Through angelic vocals, sonic complexity and a desire for experimentation, KARI taps into the sublime. She achieves something cosmic with her musical self-fashioning, forging a globetrotting sound that appeals to a universal audience. IDM, tribal, folk and the hymnal all combine for a dazzling listening experience, summed up by Alan Raw as music that 'transcends boundaries and crosses borders'.
It is a sound that has already garnered worldwide interest, with support from BBC Introducing, 'The One' being featured on Radio 1's playlist, and bookings by Isle of Wight, Waves Vienna, Opener Festival and more. 
The Polish-born musician is one of the few Leeds-based artists who is truly pushing the creative envelope. Having joined forces with local musicians and promoters to create ETNA, an innovative new event that reconfigures what we know as live performance, her sound will contribute to evolve into the production of her third album.

POLO

Yorkshire duo Polo (formed of vocalist Kat McHugh and synth man Luke Lount) might hail from Leeds, but the pair's glacial atmospherics and lush, r'n'b-tinged pop are an ethereal world away from the spit'n'sawdust DIY scene that the city's best known for.

Formed in 2014, the pair released hypnotic, woozily seductive debut single 'Party Talk' later that year and racked up performances at annual inner-city festivals Live At Leeds, Tramlines and Long Division, as well as supporting the likes of Bipolar Sunshine and Charlotte OC. Outlines will be their first live appearance since their Co-headline tour with Actor and the release of their most instantly catchy and accomplished track to date, 'Visions Of Fortune'.
