High & Lonesome presents...

Mi Mye

Cruel World + Cowgirl

Hear is the description from the face book page

"Hay everyone it's Jamie here from Mi Mye :)
So this is our home show for our album coming out. We cannot explain how excited we are about this, we love the Brude (as does everyone) and we love Cruel World and Cowgirl. So here's a little about the show, I haven't used the press releases, this is entirely my loving praise :)

Mi Mye (us)
We have made a new record, it's based on these two mountains on the north coast of Scotland, one called Ben Loyal and the other is called Ben Hope, it's about the idea that we all have these two mountains behind us as we grow up and decide what we are going to be. Loyal or hopeful. https://www.mimye.com

Cruel World
These guys are our brothers, not only do they make the greatest music (which is in many ways the reason we want to be their brothers and sister) but each and every member of Mi Mye has a long friendship with each and every member of Cruel World that pre-dates both the bands. Except that new James guy, we don't know where he's come from, but we really like him. We could not be happier to have them playing this show. https://www.facebook.com/CruelCruelWorld/

Cowgirl
These pals are new to us, they arrived into mine and Rob's (drummer in mi mye) life on that really snowy day at the beginning of the year. Me and Rob were helping them with recording their album. Each track you hear of this band makes you love the previous one you hear more and more and it keeps developing into a band you truly love. Also they have some of the best choruses I've ever heard. They are from York and I think this might be their first show in Leeds or at the Brude :) come and listen to them, they are a little bit Wilco and a little bit Stephen Malkmus. https://www.facebook.com/cowgirlband/

Thanks to High and Lonesome for helping us put on this show. https://www.facebook.com/HighandLonesome/"
