The House & Garage Orchestra

The guys behind it DJ Shy Cookie (Alex) and Ishmael Hamilton started working on it back in early 2015.

Shy Cookie did a lot of work with Luck & Neat as well as numerous other artists as a producer for the last 20 years. Shy Cookie started to experiment with live music and along with Ishmael came up with the idea of having his music performed live by a band to differentiate the music they make from their peers in the industry, as well as to incorporate what they saw as a massive opportunity to do something different to everyone else.

They built, produced and funded the project independently and run it day to day.

A live recreation of classic House and Garage music as well as a vehicle for new music from Shy Cookie and AI.

The House & garage Orchestra forms a part of their trinity of music endeavours, the other two elements being their label (though which many of our events are organised) and the in house productions they do.
