A Cloth Cat Fundraiser

Hair of The Dog

Techi + Mental Block + PWK + Mestisa

Well, they said it couldn’t be done, but we have managed to re-arrange our Hair Of The Dog night, Cloth Cat’s annual fundraiser at the legendary Brudenell Social Club. We’re really excited to present an amazing bill of uplifting locally based bands to keep the party going and wipe away the winter blues and everything else that’s been going on, whilst raising vital funds for the charity so we can keep Cloth Cat’s activities and projects running around the city. It’ll be great to be back at The Brude and have some great live music there.
On the bill this year, we have:

Tetchi
Tetchi are a band that we’ve been following with interest for a number of years and have tried to book them on a few occasions. They play uplifting live electronica served hot on a bed of layered psychedelic squidge and are renowned for their live performances at festivals and psychedelic parties throughout the UK.

Mental Block
It’s great to welcome back these guys, they play original reggae/dub/psychedelia and are regularly on the festival circuit supporting bands like, Zion Train, RDF and Nik Turner. This 7 piece festival play some amazing original reggae, ska and dub, bringing back the good times!

PWK
These guys played for us not so long back and it is an absolute pleasure to have them for Hair Of The Dog. PWK are an energetic and original rap and rock band based in Leeds with a passion for high octane performances, catchy songs and having as much fun as possible!

Mestisa
In the unlikely event that you have happened to have ever missed them, Mestisa are a Leeds-based Latin American folk quartet who perform traditional and popular folk music of Latin America on a whole array of weird and wonderful instruments and will get you up dancing, promising to leave you with a smile on your face.

All hosted by Leeds’s very own exponent of pumping power pop, the one and only A Short Dark Stranger!

There’ll be a raffle too along with a night of fun and great music so bring your dancing shoes, it’s going to be a barnstormer!! Just what we need after the past couple of years!
You can buy tickets on line here in advance for the reduced rate of £6.00 plus 41p booking fee: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/cloth-cat-studios-ltd
