Destroy All Monsters presents...
Cleft
+ Bearfoot Beware + Leg + Clenstch
It is with a heavy heart BUT also with great jubilation that we announce Cleft's last ever Leeds show as part of their final tour before they break up. The beloved turbo-prog duo have made numerous appearences on our line-ups over the years making them not just a regular booking but a part of the DAM family. In fact they've brought so much of their riffy delights to Leeds i'm sure we could give them honourary loiner status!
Cleft have gone from miniature math-rockers to cult-legends in the space of just a few years, becoming a regular highlight of ArcTanGent festival. From humble beginnings to... still very humble notoriety, being some of the nicest chaps on the circuit. Their debut album BOSH! is powerful blast of super-cahrged guitar riffs and technical rhythmic brillaince. It's the kind of joyful militancy that evokes visions of a not-too-distant future, a future where our robot overlords might one day be able to frolic freely in the post-apocolyptioc breeze... or something like that.
They're currently laying down the final touches to they're farwell follow-up, which is being funded through a Pledge Music campaign here: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/cleft/
This will be your last chance to catch the pair live in the flesh so we're going to make this one hell of a show to remember. We've invited some supreme talent to the party including...
