Past fundraising achievements
In 2005 the Entertainments Committee raised over £7000 for new acoustic firedoors, through gigs, donations, two bring and buy sales, badges and a host of other activities.
In 2006, the existing PA at the Brudenell was sold. The Entertainments Committee raised almost £15,000 to buy a new, upgraded PA, more suitable for the size of the room and the events that are held there. This project was partly financed by Awards For All.
Throughout, the Entertainments Committee have worked on the general upkeep and logstics of the gig room, with small jobs such as painting, mantaining the stage, securing the mixing desk, and doing other minor jobs around the place such as installing noticeboards for local promoters to publicise their events.
